As a Consultant at Spyglass MTG, you will be working on projects to develop technology solutions for a variety of clients in industries such as Financial Services, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Manufacturing and Higher Education. Your work is generally done at client locations in the Greater Boston and New England area in a team environment that consists of Spyglass and Client members.


Our Azure Practice designs and manages the systems that keep us and our clients ahead of the pack. As an Azure Infrastructure Consultant, you will plan, analyze, design, test, and deploy enterprise scale Microsoft cloud infrastructure solutions. You will be a technical subject matter expert on both cloud and on-premise IT systems. You will apply functional knowledge and technical expertise in the Microsoft cloud offerings and promote innovative solutions to our customers. You will develop relationships with key customer stakeholders to help them achieve their business goals.


You will:

  • Design and deploy enterprise-scale, complex cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Lead technical discussions with senior customer executives that drive decisions and implementation approaches.
  • Review and manage technical requirements and business functional requirements to establish new could platforms.
  • Design architecture with Microsoft Azure that meets our customers technical, security, and business needs for apps/workloads.
  • Execute implementation plans to move workloads to Azure.
  • Travel to customer sites as needed.
  • Write Blog articles as part of a team for the corporate website
  • Assist in the development of marketing materials.

  • You are a strong technologist with solid consulting skills.
  • You are as comfortable working with a technical team as you are with client business users, and you know how to build bridges between the two.
  • You have excellent communications skills, you are adept at mapping business needs to technology solutions and helping non-technical audiences understand the benefits of these solutions.
  • You have strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • You are comfortable giving technical presentations to varying size audiences.
  • You are a self-starter, and will take the initiative with a can-do attitude.


. Requirements:

Your skills likely includes:

  • Knowledge of infrastructure solutions, especially in relation to Microsoft solutions, platform migration, system security, enterprise directories, and cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge of operational management, systems security, testing, databases and mobility considerations.
  • Deep knowledge of IaaS on Azure, including network design, Network Security Groups, Azure Gateways, Express Route, Azure Firewall, VNet peering and User Defined Routes
  • Deep working knowledge of DR and migration strategies on Azure. Including leveraging Azure Site Recovery for both DR and as a migration pathway.
  • Experience with Azure Resource Manager Templates / Blueprints.
  • PowerShell / Azure CLI for deployments and administration.
  • Azure AD Privilege Identity Manager.
  • Azure Just in Time access.
  • Strong security awareness and knowledge of Azure best practices for security.
  • Azure Monitor, log analytics, Azure Sentinel or other SIEM experience, CloudApp Security Experience.
  • Knowledge of Intune and Advanced Threat Protection.
  • Working with global teams and offshore resources.
  • Communicating and presenting complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders, both verbally and in written form.
  • Consulting experience with Azure Cloud Migrations and Deployments.
  • Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure solutions, including enterprise directories, on-premises hosting platforms (vSphere/Hyper-V), and datacenter storage and networking.


Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of relevant Infrastructure Engineering and Support
  • 1+ Consulting experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant Microsoft Azure design & delivery experience.
  • Bachelors degree
  • Microsoft certification such as AZ-103, or AZ-500, AZ-300, AZ-301
