ZS Business Process Transformation group empowers our clients’ IS and business organizations with strategy, technology, and analytics solutions to maximize the value generation and transform business processes. The Business Process Transformation group works with clients to design effective technology solutions that support & enhance critical business processes and manage the implementation of those solutions.  
BUSINESS PROCESS CONSULTANT
Responsibilities:

  • Independently assess current business processes, identify capability gaps, gain business-IT alignment, develop future state strategy & solution vision;
  • Apply advanced analytics and data management knowledge on data sources to provide insights for clients’ critical business decisions including identification of key performance indicators to measure business performance and align with business strategy;
  • Serve as a liaison between business and technical client teams in driving business case development, user needs assessment workshops, technical solution vision and roadmap development;
  • Lead the program management work stream and development of integrated project plan; manage client expectations by driving communications; proactively identify project risks and mitigation strategies;
  • Manage and advise the needs assessment and requirements gathering process by meeting with stakeholders to define the business and functional requirements following user centric design best practices;
  • Drive methodology and frameworks for solution development (technology, data management, and analytics);
  • Drive adoption and change management activities during inception, UAT and post implementation phases;
  • Oversee and guide development of project outputs such as business case development, solution vision and design, user requirements, solution mockup, prototypes, and technical architecture (if needed);
  • Advise on critical business process enhancements based on experience/best practices, business knowledge, and gaps in current vs. future state;
  • Coach the cross-functional project team on the business perspective and data domain to inform key project decisions;
  • Coach and mentor teams, conduct & develop training programs to contribute to capability building and knowledge sharing in the assigned capabilities area.

Qualifications:

  • MBA Degree from top tier school or Bachelor's /Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, CS, MIS or related disciplines with 5- 7 years of relevant consulting industry experience;
  • 5+ years of experience in IT implementation, deployment (with business/domain focus) data management and/or program management;
  • 2+ years of leading teams using standard software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodology;
  • Experience leading and influencing clients and project teams on technology and data management strategy.

Additional Skills:

  • Deep understanding of data management best practices and data analytics;
  • Up to speed with latest technologies in reporting, data warehousing, and data management;
  • Deep understanding of client business concerns to lead translation into technical inputs and/or analytical outputs;
  • Proven relationship-building and maintaining skills with clients and across functional areas;
  • Superior verbal and written communication, organization, planning and leadership skills;
  • Ability to distill complex concepts into easy-to-understand frameworks and presentations.

ZS is a global consulting firm; English fluency is required, additional fluency in at least one European or Asian language is highly desired.
