Quicken Loans is looking for driven and creative intern to join our Compliance Program Management team toassist withinformation security compliance efforts. The Compliance Program ManagementIntern works with the IT Controls, Software Licensing and Asset Management group and the Information Security Awarenessgrouptoguide cross functional teamsin the planning, execution and delivery of compliance processes that demonstrate adherence to regulatory and contractual obligations. This motivated team member works with business and technology partners to coordinate the efforts of team members and third-party vendors to complete audits, perform data analysis and implement improvements according to plan.


  • Coordinateand executecompliance processes and due diligence efforts with internal and external stakeholders to provide timely deliverables
  • Develop performance dashboard and metrics for regular reporting to all levels of the organization on program status and performance
  • Deliver program reporting utilizing tools to track planning, scheduling, issues and overall status of compliance efforts
  • Effectivelymanage multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Drive the execution of program plans across cross-functional teams, monitor risks, take appropriate action to address challenges and provide regular updates to key stakeholders
  • Work with subject matter experts and utilize internal and external data/metrics to analyze results for compliance or unfavorable trends


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience withIT controls, information security, project management, program management,software development, vendor management, supply chain orITgovernance
  • Comfort with one or more basic data analysis tools (e.g., Excel,Power BI, Tableau, Python, R,etc.)
  • Innate curiosity and the tendency to alwaysbe asking why and looking for a better way
  • Excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiencyin the Microsoft Office suite

What'll Make You Special

  • Experience with one or more security compliance frameworks or best practices: AICPA Trust Principals(SSAE 18 - SOC 1 and 2), ISO 27000 Series, PCI DSS, HIPAA, SOX, SANS CIS Critical Security Controls, regulations governing personally identifiable information (PII), and other regulatory compliance frameworks
  • Experience working with engineering and non-engineering teams and other cross-functional stakeholders spanning all organizational levels
  • Ability to learn new business domains and build subject matter expertise in a short periodof time
  • Experience with process/system mapping and analysis
  • Experience with software development or scripting for automation purposes
