Sugar Mountain is looking for a Corporate Controller to oversee all financial and accounting functions and lead our accounting team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the activities of the corporate accounting department for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements and annual audits and annual budgets.

• Assure corporate tax compliance

• Supervise monthly internal and external financial reporting

• Manage the preparation of annual corporate and subsidiary budgets

• Coordinate annual outside reviews of subsidiary financial statements

• Implement, document and maintain adequate and effective internal controls and systems

• Effectively manage cash balances

• Participate in a wide variety of projects including store and restaurant openings as well as projects and implementations that will continuously improve our accounting department and its processes and procedures

 



Requirements:

• Five to eight years’ experience as a controller or accounting manager

• Three to five years supervisory experience, developing and coaching teams

• Experience with multi-business operations and corporate consolidation

• Ability t work on a fast pace/ highly transactional industry

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required, MS preferred

• Restaurant and/or Retail experience a HUGE plus
