We are looking for a Director, Partnership and Alliance Development to join our Business Development Team. This person is an expert relationship builder who will thrive in complex challenges and can create new business through channels that are outside of a typical client partnership. In this role, you will be responsible for growing Vinetis ecosystem through partnerships, co-selling agreements, and integrations paths with consulting firms, manufacturers, and other ecosystem partners related to personalized medicine. You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to make thoughtful recommendations on strategic partnership agreements that ultimately drive revenue for Vineti. You will collaborate and work closely with all functions in Vineti, including Product, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing. This role is based in our downtown San Francisco office.


What youll be doing as the Director, Partnership and Alliance Development:

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the personalized therapy ecosystem to strategically engage meaningful partners for the Vineti platform
  • Groom existing relationships, understanding potential roadblocks to a formal partnership
  • Establish trusted relationships with all channel partner stakeholders, while understanding key decision makers and internal dynamics for decision-making
  • Develop business plans specific to each alliance that outline intention for partnership and terms of agreement, including co-selling, press releases, potential technical integrations, revenue potential, and more.
  • Partner closely with Marketing to build and present marketing plans and materials for prospective alliance partners, considering their business priorities and potentially unique partnership with Vineti
  • Lead the hand off to Customer Success and Sales to manage the ongoing relationship with partners once agreements have been executed
  • Proactively engage with Vinetis Leadership Team to provide regular status updates on partnership pipeline
  • Implement and track performance metrics to measure the success of each partnership
  • Participate in conferences or marketing events to engage potential partners and support lead development as needed
. Requirements:
  • 10+ years as Consultant / Sales Manager / Project Manager at a healthcare software company, a healthcare consulting /advisory firm, pharmaceutical / medical device companies, CMO, CRO
  • Experience in understanding, planning, or implementing technical integrations
  • Experience selling software solutions in a healthcare or life sciences environment
  • Effective presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive and results-driven
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Collaborative work style
  • Comfort with a fast-paced environment and changing requirements
  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance and handle uncertainty / ambiguity
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience implementing software solutions in a healthcare or life sciences environment
  • Experience in Pharmaceutical manufacturing and supply chain
  • Experience with enterprise applications in healthcare (e.g. ERP, EHR, MES, etc.)
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) certification
  • Experience working with Senior Leadership teams
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical or medical device regulation
  • BA/BS in science or technical field
