Quality Assurance Associate I, Accounting at Mediacom in Fort Dodge, IA

Under general supervision and direction, performs duties pertaining to Revenue and Quality Assurance, including but not limited to reviewing queried reports and accounts from the various Mediacom systems to identify errors, correct specified errors, report the trends and identify training gaps.

* Ability to perform all duties of a Quality Assurance Associate.
* Have a good understanding of customer accounts, the billing system and Quality Assurance policy and procedures.
* Typically interacts with internal emoployee's by telephone, e-mail and instant messenger pertaining to order or adjustment entry questions, errors or problems.
* Strives to resolve procedural or error questions directly, either through account or policy research or through routing to appropriate staff members.
* Performs billing system transactions that require a higher degree of security than a general customer service agent (i.e., customer promotional offer / discount fixes).
* Demonstrates accuracy when reviewing and reporting accounts with order entry errors

* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* 2 to 4 years of experience in complex systems relating to but not limited to billing & reporting.
* Previous experience in Quality Assurance or equivalent position required.
* Problem solving skills with the ability to work independently.
* Advanced knowledge and understanding of all products and services offered by Mediacom.
* Comprehensive understanding of the various departments and their functions within Mediacom.
* Skilled knowledge of Excel, computers, and office machines.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
