What You’ll Be Working On-

In accordance with established strategy for the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation, the Sr. Specialist will develop and execute national and regional fundraising events as well develop and implement additional fundraising programs for the Foundation. The Sr. Specialist will also be responsible for growing and overseeing the Corporate Partnership program.

  • Share responsibility with Sr. Specialist in developing and overseeing Events Program and strategy. Work with regional and national board of directors, franchisees and DBI employees to develop and execute national and regional fundraising programs including fundraising events:
    • Developing financial budgets and goals for events
    • Building event specific registration websites; maintaining technical standards
    • Managing volunteer event committees; tracking against clear roles and responsibilities and ensure deadlines and goals are reached
    • Developing and working with volunteer event committee to execute project plans for each special event
    • Developing and helping to execute fundraising functions at events including auctions and mission-based giving
    • Managing contracts and negotiations with event vendors
    • Working with Communications Manager to create and increase awareness of and drive participation in events
    • Working with Communications Manager to ensure mission and branding guidelines are adhered to for all event communications and publicity
  • Grow and manage Corporate Partners Major Giving Program including:
    • Identify prospects and develop, cultivate, and steward new partnerships and donors, as well as renewing support from existing partners.
    • Lead day-to-day account and relationship management for existing corporate partners including oversee and fulfill existing corporate sponsorship benefits; coordinate and manage activations
    • Ensure all funding and reporting deadlines are met including managing agreements and cultivation and stewardship systems and processes
    • Engage the Board in identifying, cultivating and soliciting corporate donors, creating presentations and pitch materials, scheduling meetings and conducting follow up
  • Support national and regional board meetings
  • Support accounting functions for the Dunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation including:
    • Reconcile all event budgets
    • Ensure events are closed and funds received in a timely manner

What You’ll Need-

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent communications, public relations, marketing, business or related field experience required
  • 5+ years of relevant nonprofit and/or community relations experience preferred
  • 5+ years of fundraising experience preferred
  • Proven track record of writing effectively for different communications vehicles, formats and audiences
