Job Responsibilities:

As a UI Designer, you'll work directly with the UX researchers/designers to create desktop and mobile designs for Agilent's corporate website. You're innovative, quick-thinking, and know what's happening in the online design space. Your interaction design skills are second to none, and you have a knack for delivering simple, clear, and useful experiences for Agilent.com customers and users.

What you'll do:

Interact extensively with product owners, business sponsors, and industry experts to serve as the voice of the user while accommodating customer needs and technical requirements

  • Understand user needs for desktop and mobile website design
  • Lead the design team regarding areas such as color theory, typography, iconography, branding, and imagery
  • Effectively communicate interaction and design ideas and clearly explain the rationale for design decisions to cross-functional peers
  • Collaborate with UX team and stakeholders to understand detailed requirements and implement innovative visual experiences
  • Execute all visual design stages from concept to final redline specifications
  • Conceptualize ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design challenges
  • Create concept mockups and effectively communicate interaction and design ideas to teams, stakeholders, and developers
  • Establish and promote design guidelines and best practices in the Agilent digital style guide
  • Participate in discoveries, release planning, grooming, stand-ups, validation testing, quarterly releases, and post-release support
  • Continuously stay up-to-date with the latest UI/visual trends, techniques, and technologies
